Exit Interview - January 2019

1) Comment about your work ethic in this course.
   To be honest, I think I try my best in this course and learn lots of skills bout Information Technology like using Photoshop to edit pictures and using different ways to make slideshow. I really enjoy the process of doing my assignments and I am trying to do my all assignments perfectly. Sometimes I don't understand the meaning of the assignment and it's really hard for me to complete it on time. I usually ask my friends for help me to understand what's the assignment means. I think this course is really helpful for me because I know computer plays an important role in my life like I need to know how to make slides for my social project and how to making videos for some other subjects. 


 2) Which assignments did you enjoy and why? 
    I really enjoyed the final assignment " Raft " because the game was really fun and catchy. I couldn't stop playing it and it's really interesting to learn how to survive in the ocean. I really like the survival type of game because it always can bring me into the game.

 
 3) Which assignments did you struggle with and why? 
    I guess the sketch up project was the hardest assignment for me because it's really hard to control the way of viewing angle. Sometimes I thought I finish my work, but when I changed into another angle to see, the objects that I made were still floating in the air. I tried to drag the object that I made to the ground many times and I usually failed. I think I am not really good at doing 3D project.

1. Using the plastic hook to collect debris like anything that may be useful

2. What is the best tool to make for survival? (IMAGE) 

I think the plastic hook is the best tool because I can grab as many things as I can by using the plastic hook and it's really easy to make. 

3.  Your raft to date (IMAGE). What is the best feature on your raft? 

   The middle part of my raft is the best feature because I am trying to put everything in the middle to make sure the shark won't destory them.

I didn't get the research table yet and I am working on it, so I can't find the way to build the net

Game Journalism Play 3

1. What NEW things did you build today? [IMAGE]
   I built two small storages today and I put some of my stuff in there. Also I built some wood fences. 

2. How will these NEW things help you play the game (TIPS&TRICKS)?
   The two storages are really helpful because I can put all my stuff and supplies in there and I don't need to worry about I will lose all my stuff if I am died. They can keep all my supplies safe and it's really useful.

3. What strategies are you going to try to focus on tomorrow?
    I will try to build more fences to protect my raft and I will build the second floor of my raft if I can tomorrow. Maybe I will build a new bed or chair.

Explain why you built the raft the way you did.

I try to put all my stuff in the center of my raft to make sure the shark won't destory my stuff. I will put my fence around the raft to protect the raft.

1. What specifically did you do today?

   I kept looking for supplies and I built more parts in my raft because I felt like the

shark would break my raft as soon as possible. Also I built a simple purifier in my

raft , just in case that I won't be died because I don't have any water. 

2. What did you learn about how to play the game (TIPS&TRICKS)?
   I think the goal to play this game isn't just stay in the raft and be safe, because 

you need to move yourself and get as many as supplies as you can to build stuff.

The last time that I was died was because I couldn't find any water and I didn't have

anything to build the water purifier. I was stuck on the island and I had no idea that 

the island would be disappear at night. 

3. What strategies are you going to try to focus on tomorrow?

   I think my goal tomorrow is I will try to figure it out how to kill the shark and get as

many as supplies as i can get to build more. 

Game Journalism Day 1 - Basics

1) What's the game about ? 
    The game is all about survival. Basically, the character need to look for supplies to build stuff and avoid the chasing of the shark. The game is more like a survival mode Minecraft but this game is more reality. Sometimes the shark will broke the raft and the island also will be disappear during night time. It's a hard game because I have been died many times in the game.  

2) How do you collect debris?
    So most of the time in the game I used the hook to collect them, some of the time I used my hands to collect them. To be honest, I think using my hands is more faster than i used the hook. It really depends on lots of things like the distance between debris and you.

So one of the reason that I was died is I can't find any water and I was adrift on the sea. All of the supplies are just wood, plastic and leaves and I can't find anything useful.

1. What specifically did you do?
   Basically, I was trying to get supplies as much as I can and I was looking for a safe place like an island or a ship I guess than can make sure I wouldn't be eaten by the shark. 


2. What did you learn about about how to play the game?
    It's hard for me to get supplies and build as many things as I want so I guess getting supplies will be the first goal of the game. Also I guess finding a safe shelter like an island will be the second goal.


3. What strategies are you going to try to focus on tomorrow?
    I will still keep looking for supplies and I think I need to build a weapon to kill the shark because it's hard to finding supplies and avoiding the shark at the same time. I have died many times because I can't avoid the chasing of the shark.
